This data is a Lidar-derived estimate of the volume of trees in cords per acre. It was developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources using Lidarthat was collected in 2019. This layer was derived based on the Forestry - Lidar: Volume (cubic feet/acre) data layer. The cubic feet per acre volume was divided by 79 to convert the unit to cords per acre. This information can provide foresters a better understanding of the stand and how it should be managed.
