This data represents the 50th percentile of elevation distributions of all Lidar returns per 20-m grid-cell. It was developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources using Lidarthat was collected in 2019. This is the median of elevation distributions, with 50% of all returns being less than this value. This information can provide foresters a better understanding of the stand and how it should be managed.
