This data layer represents the canopy height of the public forested areas of Pine County. It was developed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources using Lidarthat was collected in 2019. This data was created through the application of a canopy height model to Lidardata. Knowing the canopy height provides critical information for understanding the physical characteristics of a forest.
