Description
City map of Newark was originally compiled for the city's 250th anniversary celebration in 1916 and revised and published for the Newark Board of Education for use in public schools in January 1918. Map is color coded to track the parcels of land purchased and annexed beginning with the original 1666 land purchase. Railroad and trolley lines are also shown.
