Minnesota Perennial Cropland and Ecological Analysis [Minnesota]
Description
This is a landscape scale analysis of potential perennial cropland and habitat areas. Individual forest, grassland and wetland models were integrated to identify and rank areas for their ability to provide sustaninable habitat. Cropland analysis was based on SSURGO, floodplain, and elevation data. See the links in Associated Data Sets for details on each individual layer., The data is to help make regional scale land use decisions, especially as it relates to balancing development and natural resource protection.
