- This dataset displays the results of a prairie/savanna change analysis study completed in May 2010. The area reviewed consists of 1,521 sites identified by Minnesota County Biological Survey as prairie or savanna habitat prior to 1994 as well as a predetermined buffer area. Data is made up of landuse codes and descriptions for 1991 and 2008 (as determined from aerial photography)., Data was developed to assess the current extent and condition of native prairie habitat identified by Minnesota County Biological Survey in 1993 or earlier. Methods and results will be used to develop protocols for future rapid change analysis procedures., Based on air photo dates:<br> 1991 Air Photos (1 meter DOQs)<br> 2008 FSA Color Infrared (CIR) Imagery
