Description
This collection includes oblique and vertical aerial photography acquired between 1984-2017 of the Delaware Estuary Coastal Zone in Delaware, Philadelphia, and Bucks Counties and the Lake Erie Coastal Zone in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Image acquisition was funded through multiple Federal Coastal Zone Management grants from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), United States Department of Commerce to the Coastal Resources Management Program within the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and contracted through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Data products vary by year to include scanned near-infrared and natural color file in TIFF and JPEG formats in alternating high-and low-altitude scales. Oblique aerial photography was acquired in selected years at an "angled" (non-vertical) perspective. Files are not georeferenced or orthorectified, with the exception of 2006 and 2010 Delaware Estuary Coastal Zone imagery.
