Description
A survey map of Lyon Township in Roscommon County, Michigan. The township lines were measured in 1838 and 1839; the western township boundary line and the subdivision lines were re-measured in 1852. Note: while the map only credits John Brink for surveying the township lines, the field notes credit George H. Cannon with re-surveying the western township boundary. In addition. the map says that the township lines were measured only in 1838; the field notes are dated 1838 and 1839.
