State Forest Campgrounds and Day Use Areas [Minnesota]

Description:

This dataset includes point data for the campgrounds, horse campgrounds, and day-use areas that are located within State Forests and are administered by the Division of Parks and Trails. The data were derived from authoritative sources in the PAT Enterprise Information System. The data are primarily used by MNDNR staff to track and manage these resources, and to inform the public as to what resources are available. Time Period of Content Date indicates when dataset was last updated. Since new facilities do not often get created and by nature do not move, this data does not need frequent updates. Time Period of Content date indicates the date which the user can be confident of accuracy and completeness of the dataset. Data were last updated in March of 2015.
