Description
This dataset depicts the Conservation Values Assessment portion of the New York-New Jersey Highlands Regional Study: 2002 Update(United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry, December 2002, NA-TP-02-03), and the Highlands Regional Study: Connecticut and Pennsylvania 2010 update (United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Northeastern Area State and Private Forestry, Newton Square, PA, November 2010, NA-TP-01-11). These data represent the relative value of land with respect to biological, forest, water, recreational, agricultural, and scenic resources. This dataset will be synthesized with other agency datasets in the HighlandsConservation Act web mapping applications hosted on the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Highlands Conservation Act website (https://www.fws.gov/program/highlands-conservation-act-grant).
