Deed-restricted parcels are recorded in a Permanent Land Protection Database and geographically enabled using ArcMap. The deed-restricted parcels fall into two broad categories: Pinelands Commission Programs and Non-Pinelands Commission Programs. Parcels deed-restricted through Pinelands Commission Programs were identified by a program's restriction code. Additional restriction codes were created and assigned to parcels that were deed-restricted by other entities. This layer identifies parcels that are subject to a permanent deed restriction and does not represent the actual boundaries of same. This layer provides a generalized depiction of the areas that are subject to the deed restriction. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended to and should not be relied upon for the precise boundaries of the area subject to the deed restriction.
