Locations of kits designed to assist City of Chicago employees and members of the public control severe bleeding in emergency situations while waiting for first responders with more advanced equipment and training to arrive. Always call 911 before locating and using a bleeding control kit. The kits are placed in occupied buildings owned or leased by the City of Chicago, as part of the Safe Chicago project led by the Office of Emergency Management & Communications.
