U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceThe channel location was digitized by Brad Strobel/USFWS using a combination of reference resources including: High-resolution (NAIP) aerial imagery, High-resolution UAS imagery, LiDAR derived DEM, Historic aerial images (1930-1950), pre-1900 plat maps as well as on-the-ground assessments. The feature was heads-up digitized as a spatial scale ranging from 1:200 - 1:2000. In areas where a clear channel path was not apparent a plausible path was delineated to connect more apparent river segments. Plausible paths were determined using the best available indirect information such as soil types, vegetation communities or prior sinuosity and general direction of flow.
