The Public Community Water Systems Existing Area Served - represent those areas within the Highlands Region that are currently served by an existing permitted Public Community Water System (PCWS). The areas represented in this dataset only represent the specific area within each parcel that is served and not the entire extent of the served parcel. An exception to this rule exists only when a parcel is less than 1 acre in size. In this case the entire parcel is associated as being served by the corresponding water purveyor.
