Peoria County contracted with the The Sanborn Map Company to receive aerial imagery during spring leaf-off in 2008. The aerial imagery covers the Peoria County boundary extent with resolutions of one foot in rural areas and six inches in the Peoria metro area. The data is available for download in zip file format. The zip file contains aerial imagery in a MrSID compressed format per township boundary area extent, one county-wide aerial mosaic in MrSID format, and a shapefile of township boundaries. The shapefile of township boundaries was used to create the MrSID aerials by township boundary area extent.
