Prioritization is based upon four principle inputs and is confined to a probably maximum historical range forPinus palustrisin the area. The inputs were partner defined and provided and the data include public and private lands with extant longleaf pine forests used as anchor sites, a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Wild Turkey Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) model, longleaf pine suitable soils acquired from USDA SSURGO soils database, and an Open Pine Decision Support Model (2011) created by the Lower MS Valley Joint Venture partnership.Created by the Lower Mississippi Valley Joint Venture partnership - 2021.
