Layers were created by tracing the ArtificalPath, found in the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey (NHD). For each tributary in this dataset 500m and 1000m long transects were created. These transects are used to delineate sampling locations when working in these systems.
