U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceAll road related AOP protocol data, including those assessed using non-SARP protocol and those assessed with the SARP protocol as of February 2022. For more detailed information including photos and exact measurements of crossings surveyed, post 2019 visit the Volunteer AOP survey webmap. Structures at road stream crossings present possible barriers to aquatic organisms. In order to determine if these are barriers, data must be collected at each crossing to determine barrier severity. Various methods exist to collect data at barriers, and this dataset represents all of those points where anyone has ever assessed a crossing for AOP, regardless of protocol.
