The projects are structures often accompanied by fencing that serve as safe passageways for wildlife to pass through roadways without directly crossing the road surface. For example, a large culvert under a road designed in the right way, can serve as a safe passageway for wildlife, particularly if there is fencing included that helps filter the animals to the structure and keeps them from crossing the road surface. The data in the layer is populated by a Road Wildlife Mitigation Database Survey 123 AGO app. The database includes all information we know about the structure from construction date, photos, specs, budgets, contacts, etc. and is intended to serve as a central repository for road wildlife mitigation projects in the state.
