Michigan Dept. of Environment, Great Lakes, and EnergyThe Michigan Publicly Owned Treatment Works PFAS data includes wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) permitted by EGLE through the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) or the Groundwater Discharge program where there is PFAS data for their respective discharge point to surface water or groundwater. The majority of the PFAS data is collected by the WWTPs and submitted via the MiEnviro Portal . There is also PFAS data for WWTPs collected by EGLE Water Resources Division (WRD) staff as part of routine compliance inspections. The data will be updated periodically as additional WWTPs obtain PFAS data for their permitted discharges.
