Land Cover - Minnesota Land Cover Classification System [Minnesota]
Description
Land cover data set based on the Minnesota Land Cover Classification System (MLCCS) coding scheme. This data was produced using a combination of aerial photograph interpretation and field surveys. There is a minimum mapping unit of 1 acre for natural vegetation and 2 acres for artificial cover types., To support conservation activities, land use planning, and analysis, Time Period of Content date indicates the date which the user can be confident of accuracy and completeness of the dataset. Newest data created using aerial photography from 2007 and field work in 2008.
