In particular, the map identifies areas deemed most suitable for retrofitting. Growth and development within these areas should be encouraged and even incentivized. However, development may occur anywhere within the URDL and in certain areas outside of the URDL where zoning would permit it. The Place Types consist of a range of intensities, from undeveloped agricultural areas in rural portions of the County, to urban downtowns and denser neighborhoods that dot the urban areas of the County. Any specific place type may be suited for multiple uses. Primary and Secondary uses have been identified for each type, where appropriate.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS DynamicMapLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/d0b9c8da110049909f042e069fea642c_7</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>Baltimore County Open Data Portal</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>Master Plan 2030 Place Types Adopted [Maryland--Baltimore County]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>Maryland--Baltimore County</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>Maryland</dc:coverage><dc:date>2030</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
