The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) is a U.S. Fish &amp; Wildlife Service (USFWS) grant program that provides matching funds to organized partnerships to protect, restore, and enhance lands that benefit wetland-associated migratory birds and other wildlife. By protecting and restoring wetlands and uplands, NAWCA supports intact, functioning ecosystems, which provide many services to society such as clean drinking water and flood protection. These direct economic benefits support multi-billion dollar industries, including tourism, commercial fisheries, forestry, and agriculture. Also, many NAWCA projects provide public access and support important traditions such as hunting, fishing, birdwatching, family farming, and cattle ranching.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/c7ac25650e5d4e499cb0632777c5c898_0</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Open Data</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>ACJV NAWCAdata 2021 state split [United States]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>United States</dc:coverage><dc:date>2021</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
