USFWSThis map shows the current and historical range of the rusty patched bumble bee. The current range is determined by counties with observations in 2007 or later while counties making up the historical range are primarily based on observations made prior to 2007. Additionally, the conservation unit in which each county is located is indicated in the attribute table. Conservation units are determined by the rusty patched bumble bee Recovery Plan which describes recovery criteria that need to be met in order for the species to be removed from the endangered species list and the actions that need to be implemented in order to meet the criteria. Recovery criteria and actions are specific to each conservaiton unit.
