Description
U.S. Counties (Detailed) represents the counties of the United States in the fifty states and the District of Columbia. The specific counties in this layer represent the range of the rusty patched bumble bee. The attribute table indicates which counties make up the current rante of the species as well as the historical range of the species. Also indicated is the conservation unit in which the county is located. Conservation units are determined by the rusty patched bumble bee Recovery Plan which describes recovery criteria that need to be met in order for the species to be removed from the endangered species list and the actions that need to be implemented in order to meet the criteria. Recovery criteria and actions are specific to each conservaiton unit.
