**UNOSAT code: FL20240804PAK** This map illustrates cumulative satellite-detected water using VIIRS in Pakistan from 26 August 2024 to 02 September 2024 compared with the period from 20 to 26 August 2024. Within the cloud free analysed areas of about 800,000 km², a total of about 37,000 km² of lands appear to be affected with flood waters. Water extent appears to have increased of about 3,000 km² since the period between 20 to 26 August 2024. Based on Worldpop population data and the maximum flood water extent ~12 million people are potentially exposed or living close to flooded areas.
