City of Tacoma - Public WorksThis layer displays the pavement condition index (PCI) rating of streets in the City of Tacoma. Scores range from 0 (poor) to 100 (good) and are symbolized by their overall condition. Additional data includes street classification, pavement type, and the International Roughness Index (IRI). Baseline data was collected in 2015 following ASTM D6433 standards and has been modeled through 2019 by a pavement management system to account for increases in PCI resulting from maintenance and reconstruction projects as well as decreases in PCI because of pavement deterioration.
