The RWI was developed statewide on a 3m grid by applying machine learning models to predict the location of existing and restorable wetlands based on hydrological, geomorphological, and geological variables. Post-processing was done to remove existing wetlands and smooth the results. This data layer replaces the original NRRI Restorable Wetland Inventory that was developed statewide on a 30m grid using a different methodology. This version is is a subset of the original dataset of the most probable locations of a wetland or restorable wetland within the 7-county Twin Cities metropolitan area (values 4 and 5 of a 5-class system). Aditionally, this version is a vectorized layer of the raster subset.</dc:description><dc:description>This version was create to support Natural Systems planning for theMetropolitan Council's Imagine 2050 Regional Development Guide for the 7-county Twin Cities metropolitan area.</dc:description><dc:description>See original dataset metada: https://conservancy.umn.edu/items/62ae7eb9-73a7-419a-9218-2fa1514380da</dc:description><dc:format>Files</dc:format><dc:identifier>us-mn-state-metc-plan-img2050-restorablewetlands</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>Restorable Wetlands - Imagine 2050 [Minnesota]</dc:title><dc:type>Datasets</dc:type><dc:coverage>Minnesota</dc:coverage><dc:contributor>Minnesota Geospatial Commons</dc:contributor></oai_dc:dc>
