Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities AreaThe regional bicycle system inventory data was a collaborative effort between the Metropolitan Council, Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, & Washington Counties and the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. This is the first iteration of this dataset and we are anticipating that there will be a significant update to the data next year as we improve the coordination efforts. The data was assembled in the summer and fall of 2016. It may reflect some 2016 projects but users should verify with the local authoring agency if the most recent construction updated are is essential to a project.This dataset is intended for planning purposes only. Both spatial and attribute accuracy varies with the organizations who contributed the data.
