The range for the Tricolored bat in Tennessee was compiled by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) from a database of occurrence records provided by various State and Federal resource agencies, and is represented using the North American Bat (NABat) Monitoring Program's 10 x 10 km (100 km) grid cell framework. The Tricolored bat range layer is publicly available to assist project proponents with early project scoping and coordination. Project proponents may use this layer to determine whether a project's footprint overlaps the Tricolored bat's range in Tennessee.
