Abstract
This line data layer represents the MCTS bus routes for Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2007. The dataset was originally published by the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) in 2007. [Field descriptions for D07 routes shapefile:ObjectID: Primary key number assigned by the database/GIS...not important, just a unique object IDVar_Route: RouteVar_Identi: Variant...our routes (in our scheduling software's map component) are made up of several pieces of the route called "variants"Var_Direct: Direction (northbound = 0, southbound = 1, eastbound = 2, westbound = 3.....8 amp; 9 are loop directions, clockwise and counterclockwise, respectively, I think)Var_Descri: Description or name of that variant or that piece of the routeShape_Leng: Length of segment in feet (I think)]
