_Update Frequency: The vacant buildings data is recorded in Accela, a third party software. Data is extracted and loaded into the Open Data Portal using an automated process that runs daily. Once a property is marked as vacant in Accela, it can take up to 72 hours to be reflected on the Open Data Portal._ #Milwaukee's Vacant Building Code On January 1, 2010, the City's new Vacant Building Registration (VBR) ordinance Chapter 200-33-64 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances (MCO) took effect.
