Montgomery County, MDSince 2011, DOT Bikeways Coordinator has enlisted the help of TEBS-GIS (then DTS) to prepare bikeways data for the annual Bike-to-Work Day folding paper map distributed each Spring. A PDF of the latest map can be downloaded here: https://gis.montgomerycountymd.gov/folding_bike_map/MoCoBike.pdf As DOT could not provide a constructed date for all bikeways, the First_Map field provides the first year each bikeway appeared on this annual map, as a sort of proxy for when each came into existence. (Again, the first map was produced in 2011, so there are no dates earlier than that.) Major bikeways are given a value of 1 in the Level field.
