Abstract
This data represents boundaries of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development's Workforce Development Areas, Wisconsin in 2021. Since each WDA region is comprised of one or more counties, this feature layer was built from Wisconsin DNR's county feature layer. The county data is derived from 1:24,000-scale sources. The county feature class was last updated in June 2015; refer to the Data Lineage section of the ArcGIS metadata for information about the nature of the update. For more information, contact the WI DNR Bureau of Technology Services.
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. This dataset contains the eleven (11) Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development's Workforce Development Areas. This dataset was generated using the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' 1:24,000 scale county layer from 2015.
