It classifies land within all municipal boundaries and Census-defined urban areas into one of five categories: (1)tree/shrub, (2)grass/herbaceous, (4)water, (7)impervious surface or (9)wetland. The classification was pursued for municipal and urban areas as well as a 1-km buffer around those locations. The original process classified land into three types, but then water and wetland areas were masked out using polygons provided by the DNR. Pixel size is 1-m2.</dc:description><dc:format>GeoTIFF</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://geodata.wisc.edu/catalog/EE2EEB17-7016-450B-ACDE-8B9E92E43778</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:subject>Environment</dc:subject><dc:subject>Imagery and Base Maps</dc:subject><dc:title>Community Tree Canopy, Wisconsin 2013</dc:title><dc:type>Datasets</dc:type><dc:coverage>Wisconsin</dc:coverage><dc:date>2013</dc:date><dc:contributor>UW-Madison Robinson Map Library</dc:contributor></oai_dc:dc>
