- This data represents general and shoreland zoning for Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.[The zoning layer depicts the zoning information for each civil town in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin as well as several of the villages and City of Fond du Lac. Each civil town/village/city in Fond du Lac County controls its own zoning. The County Land Information Department maps the zoning for the towns and several villages. The City of Fond du Lac maps their zoning independently, but also provides their information to the County on an annual basis. Each town/village/city is asked to provide documentation of any change in their zoning in order to update this data.]
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data was created to cartographically inform citizens as well as public and private officials of the zoning in Fond du Lac County. The use of this zoning data is for reference only. Zoning documentation needs to be obtained directly from the appropriate civil town, village, or city for confirmation.]
