For more information visit: https://www.danecountyparks.com/ParkSystem/Classification.TrailName: Trail name where availableSurfaceType: Predominant surface type of trail - Asphalt, Boardwalk/Bridge, Concrete (mainly next to buildings and shelters), Crushed Stone (mainly dog parks, more regional bike trails, maintenance access), Grass/Natural Earth (grass, natural surface with grass on either side, mtn bike trails are not included), Natural Earth (mainly reserved for Mtn Bike), Wood Chips, Wooden Steps.Type: Designated recreation type or maintenance access - Biking, Cross-country Skiing, Dog Park, Equestrian, Hiking, Maintenance Access, Snowshoeing. - This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [The CountyParkSystemTrails feature class contains lines features of trails in the Dane County Park System. These trails are designated maintained routes for specific recreational activities and/or maintenance access. Trails are located on Dane County Park System properties or easements managed by Dane County Parks. This data is intended for cartographic use and general spatial analyses.]
