The goal of New Jersey's program is to encourage school-aged children to avoid tobacco, drug and alcohol usage by providing alternative activities that involve learning to fish, appreciating aquatic and environmental resources, and developing positive life skills. A part of this program is the Youth Fishing Challenge, typically held the first weekend in June, which allows youth teams to compete for prizes. This dataset includes sites where the Youth Fishing Challenge is held along with attribute information including host organizations and contact information.</dc:description><dc:format>ArcGIS FeatureLayer</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://hub.arcgis.com/datasets/9f4de621c6e64423b92a6a15b29f2728_2</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP) Bureau of GIS</dc:publisher><dc:rights>Public</dc:rights><dc:title>Youth Fishing Challenge Host Sites in New Jersey [New Jersey]</dc:title><dc:type>Web services</dc:type><dc:coverage>New Jersey</dc:coverage><dc:date>Last Modified: 2025-11-24</dc:date></oai_dc:dc>
