U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceThis layer displays the bounds of NJ Wildlife Management Areas adjacent to refuge lands, providing information on areas that offer similar public uses (like hunt areas). This layer includes the nearby Port Republic WMA, Wharton State Forest, Swan Bay WMA, Stafford Forge WMA, and Great Bay Boulevard WMA. This layer was included on the Edwin B. Forsythe Interactive Map with the intention of being used by hunters to better navigate within and between refuge and state lands that are open to hunting, under the assumption that hunters have obtained all necessary permits to hunt within state and refuge lands.
