Component Types of Links-- Connection: The location where a discharge enters or leaves the Permittee's MS4 from or to a private entity, other public agency, or other jurisdiction. It also includes discharges from the Permittee's MS4 that occur above ground and are not within the ordinary high water mark of a receiving water. For example, an above-ground pipe that discharges to the ground outside the ordinary high water mark of a stream. -- Discharge Point: Defined by the Department of Ecology and "means the location where a discharge leaves the Permittee's MS4 through... [features] designed to infiltrate."--- Infall: The point point where a receiving waterbody or receiving waters enters the Permittee's MS4. Note that once a receiving water enters MS4, it is no longer considered a receiving water.--- Outfall: Defined by the Department of Ecology. "Outfall" means point source as defined by 40 CFR 122.2 at the point where a discharge leaves the Permittee's MS4 and enters a surface receiving waterbody or surface receiving waters.
