**UNOSAT code: FL20231105SOM** This map illustrates satellite-detected surface waters in Jowhar City, Jowhar District, Middle Shabelle Region, Somalia as observed from a Sentinel-2 image acquired on 20 November 2023. Within the analysed area of about 170 km2 about 27 km2 of land appears to be flooded. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field.
