Not all watershed organizations are represented here, but EGLE makes every effort to improve the accuracy of this information. Notes: Subwatersheds at the 12-digit Hyrdologic Unit Code (HUC) level are the smallest polygons in this layer; therefore, very local agencies such as lake associations may appear to have interest in the entire subwatershed (which may not be the case). County-based organizations have boundaries that do not adhere to these subwatersheds. For subwatersheds that cross county boundaries, all applicable county-based organizations are listed.
