Sanborn Map CompanyProQuest Digital Sanborn® Maps (1867–1970) is a subscription-based web application providing online access to digitized Sanborn fire insurance maps for more than 12,000 U.S. towns and cities. Access is restricted to authorized users and requires authentication through a subscribing institution. The platform delivers high-resolution, black-and-white digital scans derived from Library of Congress microfilm editions of the Sanborn Map Company’s printed volumes.
