This data represents public land survey system (PLSS) corners for Manitowoc County, Wisconsin in 2019. [Infomation on each Public Land Survey System (PLSS) standard corner in Manitowoc Countyis stored in this feature class. Corner points are identified and indexed by the state standard "Wisconsin Corner Point Identification System."]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [The purpose of this feature class is to store monument and location information and to serve as a graphic for more robust attributes contained in the Manitowoc CountyHighway Department.]
