This layer shows all of the active locations where septage waste is applied to farm fields. The septage is applied at agronomic rates (i.e. the rate the next crop can uptake the nutrients applied to the field from the septage). Aerobic soil processes and time restrictions treat for pathogens that may be present in the septage. Michigan's land application site information was collected using submitted hauler site application maps, aerial imagery, and parcel boundary information.
