This data layer represents parcels for Jackson County, Wisconsin in 2012. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Jackson_Parcels_2012.gdb.[The parcel layer was originally created in shapefile format by ProWest. They were imported to a feature class in Aug 2007. Features are based on deeds, surveys, and other legal documents. This dataset is updated continually as ownership and boundary lines change.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data.”
