This release incorporates multiple machine learning models trained on geospatial datasets and the 2023 LandScan Global dataset. For each country, a model output is selected among the 55 ML model outputs produced following a thorough review. The 2024 version builds on previous iterations by integrating key advancements, such as the inclusion of damaged structures, MapSpace, IDPS/Refugees and other new input datasets.
