Digital Orthoimagery, Spring 2018 [Minnesota--McLeod County]
Description
Ayres Associates provided McLeod County, Minnesota with digital, color orthoimagery serives in 2018. The aerial imagery was collected on May 6th and 7th using a Leica DMCIII sensor mounted in a fixed-wing aircraft. Aerial imagery was collected to support 0.33 foot ground sample distance (GSD) orthoimagery at 1"=100' map scale to meet ASPRS Class II standards with a horizontal accuracy of +/-1.6 feet at a 95% confidence level. Resultant orthoimagery was rectified to a DEM surface created from existing county LiDAR data. Orthoimagery was delivered in client specified GeoTiff and MrSID tiles according to a 5,000' x 5,000' tiling structure and a project-wide MrSID mosiac., This project established digital, color orthoimagery for McLeod County, Minnesota., Ground condition. Imagery was flown May 6-7, 2018.
