We identified locations where we had ecosystem function/service concerns as well as noting preliminary species that might be particularly important to the location We are working on WPU specific suggestions for objectives, metrics and targets (from our Inland perspective) as a next step for this effort. On that note, we have some concerns over the inclusion of White Crappie HSI as indicator and would like to understand why that species was selected and if we have any ability to discuss including Black Crappie vs. White Crappie? Or what wiggle room is available at this point on freshwater fish species.
