Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Bikeway Counters
Description
The City's first two-way protected facility, the William Street Bikeway, was installed in 2019. Three others have since been added: on First Street, Division Street, and Miller-Catherine. Counters have been installed that count bikes in the bikeway and pedestrians on the adjacent sidewalk. Please Note: 2023 does not reflect a full year of bike and pedestrian activity. The first counters were installed in August and September of 2023. September 2023 contains a full month of data for the Division and William counters. Data for the Miller/Catherine counter begins on September 5, 2023 in the afternoon. A fourth counter, located on First St., was installed on October 2, 2024. Bike count data does not include scooters. **For more information about biking downtown, see the [DDA Bike Info and Data Webpage](https://www.a2dda.org/getting-around/bike/)**.
